Jarrin getting advice from big sis before the performance



This year McKenna and Jarrin were both signed up for Angie Reidhead's gymnastics. Jarrin got a little tired of it about halfway through the year, but he did better at the end. Now he wants to take gymnastics again next year. He loved practicing his cartwheels, pushups, and stretches at home. McKenna loves gymnastics and is hoping to get her back handspring soon.

First Grade Spring Fling!

The first grade put on their spring fling program. They sing songs about different things they have learned during the year, as well as perform dances. Jarrin was chosen to be an eagle first, but he didn't want to wear a costume. He chose to be a piggy bank dancer. His teacher said he was so excited to practice every day. One day the dance teachers almost didn't show up and he was really upset. They did finally show up and he said, "Thank goodness". It was a cute program.

Zion

We took a day trip to Zion. On the way we saw a lot of deer and some mountain goats. That was the first time I had seen those in the park. Jarrin loved going through the tunnel. He thought that was pretty neat. We took the shuttle up the canyon and went on the hike up to Emerald Pools. It was a beautiful day!
