Today was the last day of school and boy were we excited! The bell rang. All the kids went home and it started to rain! It cleared out fast and Austin's already at his friend's house and McKenna's already riding her bike around the neighborhood. Jarrin is enjoying some time alone to play any video game he likes without Austin telling him no.
Today we had awards assemblies at both schools. Jarrin got an award for excellent attendance. McKenna got an award for excellent attendance and reading. Austin earned an outstanding scholar award for keeping a 4.0 grade point average the entire year as well as outstanding performance in math, science, and business. They are great kids and we are very proud of their accomplishments. Now if we could just get them to do chores without whining and to quit teasing each other we'd have it made!!!
